Based in Moray in the North East of Scotland. I started with a passion for Landscapes in 2009 and then covering my first wedding in 2014.
The Moray coast has some stunning rocky coastline and lovely sandy beaches. It is from this backdrop that I started my journey in Landscape photography.
In December 2014 I joined SWPP and SINWP. I took this decision to try and take my photography to the next level. Since then I have gained awards to Gold and Highly Commended level in The Societies Photographic competitions.
With this in mind, I submitted a panel of 20 images for qualification towards the end of March 2015. And during first weeks of April received the news that I'd hoped for. A pass in Licentiate in Photography (SINWP).
The future... I aim to get a panel of images together to go for an Associateship qualification.
Since then I have invested in training both in Wedding Photography and Business the aim of which is to become the best wedding photographer I can be. This will be an ongoing investment to grow the business. Then at the end of March 2020, I submitted a panel of 20 wedding photos for qualification to The Societies. A week later I got the news I was after. A pass at Licentiate level with my wedding photography (LSWPP). Here's the link to my profile on their website. Mike Custer LSWPP
Weddings...Why I Love Them
Coming from a management background where I'm used to dealing with and organising people I find this second nature. Aside from this, I get a real buzz from capturing these memories. Memories that will hopefully pass down from generation to generation. Which is why all my Wedding Photography Packages
contain a Wedding Album alongside the digital files ( except for the Digital Package). For an overview of my pricing follow this link. Pricing
After all your investment in me to capture your wedding day, so why not have something to pass to your children and grandchildren. Something to remind you of your special day at your chosen wedding venue.
What It Means To Me
This has got to be the best job in the world. You get to meet new people every week. Aside from that, you're spending the day with two people in love, their friends and family who may have come from all over the country or maybe even the world to share this joyous day. What a privilege!
What about me?
I enjoy going on walks with my family, listening to music and going to concerts.
When I'm not working I spend a bit of time at my local leisure centre keeping fit at a variety of fitness classes. How else am I going to sustain a wedding day on my feet capturing your day to the best of my ability?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
