Georgia and Bremner had booked me for their wedding at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel in Inverness. Arriving just at the end of bridal preps, where Bridal Hair By Natasha and Gillian Hoban Makeup had been working to create a stunning style. As Georgia had wanted to do a "Dad Reveal", I got Georgia in position before getting one of the bridesmaids to let proud Dad Roman in to get the first look at his gorgeous daughter. To Dad's surprise, Georgia had a little surprise for him. A pocket watch to say thank you. A few portraits with the two of them and then with the bridesmaids before it was time to set off from the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel to the other side of the river to Inverness Botanical Gardens, where Bremner and the guests were waiting for the ceremony to begin.

A beaming Georgia arriving at Inverness Botanical Gardens for her Inverness wedding to be greeted by a smiling Bremner and the other guests. As an Inverness wedding photographer these are the days that make it so special and such a privilege to capture these memories for my couples.
With the ceremony underway, it was time for emotional stories about the couple and their meeting. Leading to a mix of tears and laughter from those present. The couple performed the traditional hand-fasting ceremony before exchanging rings and that all-important photo opportunity for me... the first kiss.
The couple went upstairs to the deck above to sign the register with their witnesses. Capturing this and more, including a posed photo of them all, plus one or two with just the couple.
After the signing the beaming couple returned back down to their waiting guests to be congratulated by everyone.
With the final parts of the ceremony complete, it was time for the couple to walk down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time. Allowing me to capture them for a quick photo before they doubled back down to be congratulated by their guests.
Capturing some family photos with the couple and their guests at this point. Another chance for some cherished memories with their nearest and dearest.
With the guests returning to the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel for some refreshments, Georgia and Bremner took the short drive in the Highland Classic Cars Triumph to the bridge to access the Ness Islands. Before we set off on foot for some photos on the islands, we captured a few pictures with the couple sitting in and around this beautiful classic. During our walk around the island, we captured a mix of candid photos of the couple, relaxed and chatting as they strolled, while also incorporating some traditional posed shots along the way whenever I spotted some gorgeous light. One of the benefits of being a wedding photographer in Inverness is I know where to take my couples to get some stunning photos and also giving them time to relax alone for the first time as a couple before returning to their guests.
Returning to the Glenmoriston Hotel, Kelly, the brilliant wedding manager at the hotel, presented them with a glass of fizz. At the same time, I organised their guests for a confetti shot outside the hotel.
Before they were seated for the speeches, Georgia and Bremner cut their wedding cake, made by Susan's Splendid Cake Store.
With the couple seated at the top table, adorned by a beautiful spread of flowers by Flowers by Lee. With the speeches underway, the father of the bride, Roman, goes up first, followed by Bremner and then the best man and groom's son, Ross.
To finish the evening off the couple moved over to The Piano Bar at the Glenmoriston to finish the evening off with their evening guests.
It was such a pleasure as an Inverness wedding photographer in the Scottish Highlands to be part of this wonderful Highland wedding.
