Fancy a lavish weekend? With ample accommodation for all your family and friends and bursting with spots for gorgeous photos, this is a popular venue for couples to say their vows. With the expert wedding team on hand to help bring your day to life.

When you arrive at Forbes of Kingennie, it’s like stepping into a fairytale—rolling hills, a peaceful loch, and fresh Scottish air, even if the wind rustles through the trees. The venue has a fantastic balance of luxury and rustic charm, giving you all the cosy feel without skimping on the finer details. Whether planning an intimate ceremony or a more significant celebration, Kingennie offers spaces that are as flexible as they are stunning.

The wedding spaces are just gorgeous. The Buddon Burn Suite can hold up to 100 of your guests in this naturally lit, soft, and welcoming space. It has beautiful white-washed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows with bi-fold doors that allow a sense of the outdoors.

For more significant ceremonies, the Inglesmaldie Suite can accommodate 120 of your nearest and dearest guests for the meal and up to 160 evening guests. It is a blank canvas

with subtle Harris Tweed, giving it a sense of warmth and a Scottish touch.

You can always use the 150-acre resort for photos before your meal and evening guests arrive.

Wedding Photography at Forbes of Kingennie.

As your Aberdeen wedding photographer, I cover many weddings annually in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire. Living in a central location gives me easy access to Forbes of Kingennie and other Aberdeen wedding venues.

Start your day at Forbes of Kingennie in a relaxed documentary style as you get ready with your bridesmaids with hair and makeup. I also capture photos of your dress and jewellery, and once you are all dressed and ready, I will capture some beautiful pictures of you all in some natural light or a fun moment with some bubbly.

Right before you set off, I will capture your Dad’s first glimpse of you in your dress and a few with your parents.

I will complete your family group photos after the ceremony and during the drinks reception. Then, I will take you away to photograph your couple portraits around the grounds and resort.

After your wedding meal, cut the cake and have the first dance. I usually stay for a dance or two and get right in amongst your guests to get action shots on the dance floor.

Forbes of Kingennie Wedding Photography Packages.

I’ve recently streamlined my Aberdeen wedding photography packages.

My first package is the Digital package, which is as it sounds. Start as you get ready and continue to your first dance or two. Once complete, I will deliver you photos in a password-protected gallery.

My Classic package is similar to the digital except it contains a handmade Italian wedding album alongside your gallery photos.

The best value option is my Premium package, packed with many extras, including a pre-wedding session with video highlights, a second photographer for all those candid moments, video highlights content, and an Italian handmade wedding album with two matching parent albums.
